AIM

With a defender on your heels to suddenly face him/her and go past them over their backhand.

 

 

STANCE

Your left foot is behind and not indicated on mat, it is actually carrying your weight, lean backwards.

Straight back. Stick is horizontalish. Left hand is at top of stick and hands are about 15 cm apart.

Make sure of the positions of your right foot and the ball in relation to mat.

DANCE

Shift your weight from your left foot to the front of your right foot, whilst you move the stick head to behind the ball, don't touch it yet though!

Because you need to move the stick head around the ball whilst you pivot your body clockwise on your right front foot.

NOW pull back the ball along the edge of the mat whilst you push off sideways with your left front foot.

Shift weight from left of your body to the right and land your right foot where indicated on mat.

Keep guiding that ball and move left foot (shift weight again) to as indicated and go run.

COMMENT

This is a Move from the 'olden days' when it was not allowed to be between the ball and opponent.

Again practise all details but in a match you'll have to go LARGE to avoid that backhand tackle.

Timing it such that the ball is beside you at the end of the Move helps.
