AIM

To go past a defender over their backhand side after faking you might go past them over their forehand.

 

 

 

STANCE

Place the mat in fornt of you and the ball next to your right foot as indicated.

Your left foot is behind and not indicated on mat. Knees are bent and your back is straight.

Left hand is at the top of your stick and the right hand about 15 cm lower.

DANCE

Move your weight to your front foot whilst guiding the ball a bit forward and than angled to the left.

Step forward with your left foot whilst guiding the ball angled and shifting your weight from back to front.

At the most left forward point move head of stick anti-clockwise 180 degrees around ball.

Push yourself back with left front foot and pull ball back as indicated on mat.

With the ball just next to your right foot move stick head 270 degrees clockwise around it.

Pivot on front of your right foot and 'swing' left foot to position indicated whilst guiding the ball with your forehand as indicated. 

COMMENT

Don't skimp on size of the move you want the ball to to stay out of reach from the defender, or not?!

For a proper fake the whole top of your body incl shoulders and head point angled to the left.

If you move to the right with the ball nicely tight right of your body a defender could hardly reach it.

Step forward with your left foot whilst guiding the ball forward and shifting your weight from back to front.

At the most forward point move head of stick anti-clockwise 180 degrees around ball.

Push yourself back with left front foot and pull ball back as indicated on mat.

With the ball just actually next to your right heel move stick head 270 (!) degrees clockwise around it.

Pivot on front of your right foot and 'swing' left foot to position indicated whilst guiding the ball with your forehand as indicated. (WIth 2 players you now could push pass to the right.)

COMMENT

To go past a defender you would continue to pivot 90 degrees to the left on your front right foot.

If you move to the right with the ball nicely tight right of your body a defender could hardly reach it.
